Max has been the head Athletic Therapist and Strength and Conditioning Coach at Vanier college since 2006. Max works with a wide variety of athletes from different sports including football, basketball, soccer, rugby, MMA, and hockey. He also works with many professional and amateur athletes, most notably UFC’s Georges St.-Pierre. Max frequently travels for international competitions with Wrestling Canada. These competitions have included the World Cup, 2013 Jeux de la Francophonie, 2015 and 2019 PAN-AM games, and 2020 Tokyo Olympics. ​Max is also an instructor at his alma mater, Concordia University, since 2010. He has experience teaching courses in Manual Therapy, Strength and Conditioning, and Assessment of Extremities.

Max combines his manual skills, knowledge and experience as an Athletic Therapist, Strength and Conditioning Coach and Osteopath to promote overall well-being.

Jessica was a competitive figure skater for 18 years and an NCCP Certified Coach since 2009. She hosted as Chief Therapist with Skate Canada at multiple National and International competitions, including 2019 Skate Canada International and 2020 World Championships. Jessica has also worked as Head Athletic Therapist for local sporting associations, including the North Shore Football League and Dollard Soccer.
Jess uses her experience as a former athlete to teach her clients about the nature of injury, the importance of prevention and how to use exercise to heal the body. In her practice, she believes that understanding how the body compensates is a crucial part of injury prevention, developing athletic ability, and resolving injury.

Donavan was an Athletic Therapist at Concordia University from 2016 to 2020 where he worked with the Hockey, Rugby, and Football teams. Since 2017, he has also been the Head Athletic Therapist with the Lac St. Louis Lions M18 AAA Hockey team.
Donavan uses his understanding of the body to assess the reason for pain and limitation. A strong assessment allows him to effectively treat the cause through manual treatment and provide his clients with targeted exercises.

Phil has played competitive AAA soccer for many years and still enjoys playing soccer and tennis. Throughout this time, he has coached and provided strength and conditioning to his soccer athletes at the high school level. Phil has been an Athletic Therapist and internship supervisor at University du Quebec â Montréal since 2017 working with athletes in a variety of sports such as volleyball, soccer and basketball. Phil has also worked with many rugby Quebec and rugby Canada athletes.

Philippe takes a functional approach when assessing and treating his clients. He incorporates techniques in both physical therapy and osteopathy in his practice. His main goal is to help his clients return to their active lifestyle regardless of their fitness level.

Ruby is a Brand X Professional Youth Coach, Level 1 Crossfit Trainer and a certified Level 1 Burgener Strength Weightlifting coach with over 25 years of coaching experience. She has an extensive background in coaching at all levels. She is an energetic, passionate and caring coach who believes that physical health and well-being is important to all. Ruby emphasizes creating proper movement patterns to create a solid physical foundation and to reduce potential injuries. Ruby pulls from her experience and knowledge, as both an athlete and coach, in basketball, judo, soccer and CrossFit, to create fun and functional workouts that will allow her athletes to move better for any sport or activity they wish to do.

Ben is a strength and conditioning coach and Athletic Therapist at Synergy Sports Therapy and Performance. He has been training and coaching team and strength sports for almost a decade.
As an Athletic Therapist, he has worked with a wide variety of athletes from division 1 varsity teams to professional career athletes in the CFL and the Olympics. Ben uses manual therapy as an adjunct to strength and conditioning to facilitate movement and progressive loading.

Christine is a former Canadian Junior National team member in Judo. She came to Montreal to train at National Training Centre. Christine had to discontinue Judo due to an ACL injury. Her injury sparked an interest in athletic therapy, strength and conditioning and rehabilitation. In 2019, Christine furthered her education by becoming a registered massage therapy. Her studies have provided her with tools in deep tissue, myofascial, sports, therapeutic, and chair massage.
Christine uses knowledge and skill from athletic therapy and applies it in massage therapy to provide relaxing and therapeutic treatment for her clients.

Matylda combines her knowledge of athletic therapy, massage therapy, and exercise prescription as well as her experience as a competitive soccer player to help everyone get back to their usual activities.

Her passion for pain perception and management in athletes led to her first publication during her Bachelor, and her current enrolment in a Master degree at Concordia University continuing her research in the same field. Matylda will search for the root of your pain and use the tools at her disposal to help rid you of it and prevent its return.

Zack is certified Athletic Therapist, personal trainer, and professional MMA and boxing fighter. In 2016 and 2017, he won Quebec champion at the Golden Gloves Competition. In 2018, he won 2nd place in the Canadian Championships. He has trained under George St-Pierre, Rory McDonald, and many elite mixed martial artists.
Zack has experience working with both combat sports athletes and the elderly population. He specializes in exercise prescription, program design and periodization training. He is currently finishing his Master degree which focuses on supplementation for performance on MMA athletes. Zack’s goal is to get you off the treatment table and moving in the gym as quickly as possible.

John-Patrick Wand was a competitive hockey and soccer player for 16 years. His athletic career, marked by various injuries and rehabilitation, gave him firsthand insight into the athlete's experience. Driven by a passion for sports and helping others, he pursued athletic therapy, working as a sports first responder in Football, Hockey, Soccer, and Jiujitsu. He has served as head Athletic Therapist for the North Shore Mustangs Midget AAA Football team and worked with the Montreal Rangers Junior AAA hockey team.
John-Patrick combines his deep understanding of the human body with his athletic experience to assess a wide range of injuries. He educates his patients, from athletes to everyday individuals, using a comprehensive approach to support optimal recovery. His treatments often blend manual therapy with exercise prescription. In addition to therapy, John-Patrick offers personal training and designs tailored exercise programs for his patients.

Julie is a certified Athletic Therapist with a passion for sports and a desire for others. As an athletic herself having explored various sports including competitive ringette and soccer, she has a well-rounded perspective allowing her to related to her patients both on and off the field.

While she has worked with a variety of teams, Julie's professional journey has been largely centered around the world of football. She has had the pleasure of working with athletes of all levels, from recreational to professional.

Melisa is an empathetic and passionate certified Athletic Therapist. Since a young age, Melisa has been competing internationally in acrobatic gymnastics and her passion for sports and healthcare has introduced her to Athletic Therapy. With her enthusiasm and drive, she enjoys equally covering field events and treating in the clinic.

Melisa is comfortable treating any age group and her main goal is to get you moving pain free. In her treatment sessions, she focuses on manual therapy and exercise prescription. To expand her skills and knowledge, Melisa is currently working on completing her diploma in osteopathy and she is looking forward to adding this certification to her expertise.

Kierra is a certified Athletic Therapist who has worked with athletes across various sports and skill levels. She had the privilege of volunteering as part of the medical team for the 2024 World Figure Skating Championships in Montreal.

Growing up playing soccer and basketball, Kierra's own experience with sports-related injuries drives her passion for helping others recover and achieve their full potential. She takes a hands-on approach, blending manual therapy with personalized exercise prescriptions to promote long-term health and peak performance.
